For sometime now have been operating the "Metrocab" London blackcab taxis, but we found them to be too limited regarding the transporting of some types of wheelchairs, so we now run the Mercedes "Vito" with the "Chairman" conversion by Gowrings Mobility.
This vehicle has a rear kneeling suspension and cutaway floor so there is extra height and a flat one piece ramp which allows us to carry any type of wheelchair and any 3/4 wheel scooters with perfect safety.
With one w/chair & upto 5 passengers it means a family can travel together with room for luggage as well. 3 w/chairs & 2 passengers can also travel together.
